Accepting the task to write a guidebook on
Mentalism (psychic powers) is a very brave decision indeed as great minds such
as Dr John Dee and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle have previously failed miserably as
they gave up their scientific research in favour of the pursuit of mediums and
matters of the spirit/psychic world. The Mentalist’s Handbook by Clint
Marsh covers a broad array of topics and the reader is offered Clint’s
dedicated teachings on subjects such as the Aether, how to use telepathy,
telekinesis, and clairvoyance. There
are also lessons on spiritualism, meditation, psychism and phantoms.
The author advises on a series of exercises to be practised throughout
the book to perfect yourself in the art of Mentalism.
Perhaps most exciting, the reader is given the opportunity to record
their personal experiences, which may be communicated to Clint.
The Mentalist’s Handbook
is a recommended start for the aspiring magician, spiritualist, psychic and
mentalist. Clint’s previous publications include Goblinproofing One’s
Chicken Coop, On Gnoming (A pocket guide to the Successful Hunting and Cooking
of Gnomes), and Wandering Wizards Welcome (By Appointment). Clint
publishes Phooka, The Journal of the Overland Mallet Club through
